This Privacy Policy explains how Pioneer Stack LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use any of our mobile applications under the Pioneer Stack® brand, including but not limited to terraSTACK, and related services ("Apps").

By using our Apps, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We collect the following types of information when you use our Apps:

1.1 Account & Authentication Data

• Email address
• OAuth login details (via Google, Apple, or email)
• Authentication tokens (we do not store your plain-text password)

1.2 Identification & User Submissions

• Uploaded images and associated metadata
• User-submitted feedback, collection names, tags, and notes
• Ratings, favorites, and saved identifications

1.3 Location Data

• If enabled, we collect GPS location data at the time of identification (used to map pins or enrich results)
• We may also extract embedded location metadata (EXIF) from photos

1.4 Usage Data

• Stack selections, app version, device type
• In-app actions, feature usage, and error logs

1.5 Analytics

We collect anonymized behavioral analytics via third-party platforms to improve user experience. This may include:

• Session duration
• Feature usage trends
• Retention and engagement patterns

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver and personalize features (e.g., relevant stack suggestions)
• Improve app functionality and performance
• Authenticate and manage user accounts
• Respond to user inquiries and support requests

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may also retain anonymized or aggregated data for analytics or legal compliance.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from users in that age group. If we learn we've collected data from a user under 13, we will promptly delete it.

7. Security Measures

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including:

• End-to-end encryption for account authentication
• Secure cloud storage (Supabase infrastructure)
• Role-based access controls
• Regular security reviews of third-party integrations

However, no system can be 100% secure. You use the Apps at your own risk.

8. International Users

Our services are hosted in the United States. If you are accessing the Apps from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post updates in the App and/or notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice.

Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
